We’re a group of Oromo women passionate about ending hunger, providing food security, and supporting a sustainable food system in the Gadab Hasaasa region of Oromia, Ethiopia.

We envision a future in Gadab Hasaasa where every single person has dignified access to food and food security.

Our Values

The work we do in Gadab Hasaasa centers, above all, the most vulnerable in the region. Our efforts are grounded in community, intentionally led by women with men as allies, and operate within the framework of a grassroots collective, mobilizing horizontally and prioritizing power-with (as opposed to power-over) dynamics in community organizing and mutual aid.
